Trane Technologies was one of thirty exhibitors at the London-based 2026 Terra Carta Summit, a sustainable markets initiative founded by King Charles III. The summit focuses on real, market-ready climate solutions and is attended by global CEOs, heads of state, policymakers and King Charles III himself.
Trane’s goal at Terra Carta was to showcase their real-world energy recycling technology and break the belief that buildings are fixed, energy-hungry infrastructures. Enter concept “Steeped in Energy.”
We created a museum-quality, hands-on exhibit anchored by a replica of the 55 Water Street building in NYC that currently uses Trane’s integrated energy recycling loop of ice bank, air handler and chiller. In keeping with Terra Carta’s no-screens policy as well as their strict footprint limitations, we showed that energy being removed from the building doesn’t disappear, it gets captured and reused. And in this case, it gets reused to warm a cup of tea fit for the King.
